Hey! I'm Esther (EJ), the designer and illustrator behind Love Stories. I create thoughtful, story-led stationery that reflects you as a couple.
Love Stories began when I designed the wedding stationery for two of my closest friends. Through that process, I realised I wanted to make beautiful stationery for people celebrating their love outside the traditional: queer, feminist and modern couples who want something different.
As a queer person myself, I know weddings can feel very gendered and traditional. That's lovely for some people, but if you don't fit that mould, it's easy not to see yourself in it. I also know that every couple is unique, however they identify, and that weddings leave so much room for self-expression. That's why I started Love Stories: to create stationery that goes beyond the rainbow cliché, for queer couples and for anyone who wants something outside the traditional.
For me, it's all about getting to know you as a couple, understanding what makes your relationship special, and bringing those little details to life through illustration and design.

Let's chat
We'll have a relaxed consultation where I get to know you as a couple and hear your vision for the day. This is where we talk through your style, your story and what matters most to you.
Design & Refine
I'll put together a mood board of ideas, then start designing. You'll have two rounds of revisions, followed by final tweaks, so everything feels exactly right.
Print & Delivery
I'll help you find the best printing option for your budget and manage the whole process for you, free as part of your design. Printing costs are extra.
